Agapenor - son of Ankeus and Iotis, leader of the Arcadians, king of Tegea. Elena's fiance. The sons of Phegea gave him as a slave to Arsinoe. In his house, the sons of Alcmaeon killed the sons of Phegeus.

He led 60 ships to Troy and took part in jumping competitions in honor of Achilles. Was part of a detachment in the Trojan Horse.

Upon his return from Troy, he settled in Cyprus. Upon returning, the Arcadian ships were brought to Cyprus, where Agapenor built Paphos and erected the temple of Aphrodite in Old Paphos. Didn't return home.
